About The Position
This position involves setting up information technology infrastructure in a robotics lab under the supervision of Dr. Neubert. The role requires hands-on work with various IT components and systems related to robotics.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable in Python, Java, C++
- Strong attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Basic programming
- Knowledge of computer hardware/software, network protocols, and the Linux operating system
- Understanding of firewalls, routers and switches
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
Responsibilities
- Set up file server
- Set up a password manager
- Deal with network issues on robotic systems
- Create a lab webpage
- Work with edge platforms on robotic systems, including UAVs and UGVs.
