About The Position

This internship will be a part of the Research IT team, focusing on developing scripted and automated solutions to enhance the user experience for the Bank's economists in the Research Department. You'll gain experience with Power Automate, PowerShell, and Power Apps, and contribute to exploring AI-powered tools and technologies to improve our workflows and infrastructure. Onsite work is an essential function of this position, and you are required to be onsite according to the schedule set by your management. The Federal Reserve is the central bank of the United States and is one of the most influential, trusted, and prestigious financial organizations. The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta territory covers the Sixth Federal Reserve District, which includes Alabama, Florida, and Georgia, and portions of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The Atlanta Fed and the other Reserve Banks play an important part in all three of the Fed's functions: monetary policy, bank supervision and regulation, and the operation of a nationwide payment system. Internships are paid. Housing will not be provided. Requirements

  • Minimum cumulative GPA above 3.0 in academically rigorous curriculum.
  • Must be committed to working a 40-hour work week for 10-12 weeks during the summer months.
  • Knowledge of programming languages, workflow design, and AI technology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
  • Great work ethic and detail oriented
  • Comfortable working across time zones to complete projects in a timely manner
