Hudson Institute is seeking research interns for Fall 2026 who want to gain experience in the U.S. national security industrial base, strategic technologies and resources, and American grand strategy. Interns will support experts’ work to advance American preparedness and competitiveness in an increasingly unstable geopolitical environment. They will be exposed to critical issues in these areas and spend significant time discussing them with Hudson experts. Interns who work onsite may assist with and attend public events and intern-specific events featuring Hudson scholars and experts across Washington, DC. Applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, and a relevant 2–3-page writing sample in a single PDF through the cover letter upload field. The file must be titled “First, Last Application.” Applications without a writing sample will be disqualified. Because of the large application volume, Hudson Institute will contact only applicants selected for an interview.
