About The Position

Applied Intuition is seeking multiple passionate Research Interns to join their Research Group. This group focuses on creating cutting-edge technology for next-generation physical AI, specifically in end-to-end autonomous driving and robotic generalist applications. The team consists of leading experts with significant academic and industry contributions. Researchers have access to extensive data and industry-leading tools to deploy their developed methods into various autonomous and robotic systems. Interns will contribute to research, learn industry best practices, and see their improvements deployed to help customers and the business.

Requirements

  • Strong research background and skills on relevant topics, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on projects
  • Current PhD (or MSc) studies in machine learning, computer vision and graphics, robotics
  • Passion for next-generation, scalable autonomy and robotics

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on pretraining world-action foundation model with various world modalities including vision and physics associated with ego actions, serving the purpose for both robot action and simulation world generation.
  • Diving into relevant topics such as vision-physics modality association, feed-forward Gaussian splatting, world foundation model, human data incorporation, language modality, and spatial reasoning, deformable object modeling and simulation.
  • Work closely with the Research Scientists and Engineers on high quality research publications for submission to top-tier conferences.
