The Department of Radiation Oncology is dedicated to advancing the future of imaging and radiation therapy through innovative research focused on more precise, effective, and personalized cancer treatments. Research efforts emphasize improving clinical outcomes and expanding knowledge in emerging interdisciplinary areas, including cardio-oncology. The Research Intern (Per Diem) will support clinical cancer outcomes research focused on the relationship between cancer therapies and cardiovascular health. Under physician-scientist mentorship, the intern will gain hands-on experience in clinical research methodologies, patient data collection, radiation oncology workflows, and scientific analysis within a leading academic healthcare environment. This internship is designed to provide exposure to translational and clinical research while supporting the development of foundational research, analytical, and scientific communication skills.
