Inspire Vancouver is the City of Vancouver’s cultural access program, funded by a .1% cultural access tax. The program supports arts, culture, heritage, and science organizations across the city with the goals of expanding access and engagement, strengthening the cultural community, boosting jobs and neighborhood pride, and encouraging creativity and learning. The program is guided by the Culture, Arts and Heritage Commission and a grant review committee of Vancouver residents. Inspire Vancouver emphasizes expanding access for people and communities who have historically faced barriers to participation. As a brand-new team, we are building our programs and our evidence base simultaneously, and this internship is crucial to that effort. The intern will help launch our community measurement and learning practice by designing and conducting culturally responsive surveys with key audiences and translating that data into compelling reports to demonstrate the program's impact.
