The Research Integrity Associate supports the Research Integrity unit within the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs and is expected to: Provide administrative and operational support to the Research Integrity unit within the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, with a primary focus on human subjects research. Review, process, and track human subjects protocol submissions, including new applications, amendments, continuing reviews, and study closures, ensuring submissions are complete and compliant with institutional and regulatory requirements. Prepare regulatory committee determination and correspondence memos and formally communicate committee decisions, required revisions, and approval statuses to principal investigators and study teams in a timely manner. Advise Research Integrity staff on human subjects research compliance, including interpretation of federal regulations (e.g., 45 CFR 46), institutional policies, and IRB requirements; support consistent application of review standards, assist with complex protocols, and promote best practices in the protection of human research participants. Perform other duties as assigned in support of Research Integrity functions, including human subjects research compliance, IRB operations, and protection of human research participants. This position is 100% remote.
