About The Position

The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include development of essential, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance. The Research & Innovation Program Manager - Senior Associate will be responsible for leading the orchestration of initiatives to drive the comprehensive adoption of emerging technologies across DTCC. This role will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful oversight and delivery of projects within the TRI portfolio. The candidate must be a self-starter, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and be able to engage both executive and technical audiences. The candidate must also demonstrate a positive and can-do attitude and be a team player with the ability to push for target dates, while being empathetic to challenges and obstacles and be the team's voice in raising and mitigating risks with the help of senior management. In addition, the Senior Associate must be open to new and modern approaches to delivery, including agile Program Increment planning processes. Serves as a dedicated technology resource for advancing DTCC’s business opportunities and providing industry thought leadership for leveraging new technology. The goal of this new department is to partner internally with IT, our business and regulatory divisions and externally with clients, regulators, and fintech vendors, to help build new platforms and business models to advance DTCC’s mission to support the financial markets.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
• Expertise in managing Agile projects using Jira
• Experience collaborating with globally dispersed project teams
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with past experience directly interacting and presenting to executive leadership
• Able to see the big picture and chart a bold course toward future-ready capabilities
• Skilled at engaging partners across all levels and building alignment
• Capable of synthesizing complex topics into clear, actionable messages
• Curious with a desire to stay ahead of tech trends and pivot with purpose

Nice To Haves

• Experience managing and delivering projects using AI and emerging technology (i.e., Digital Assets, Blockchain, etc.) is preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various departments to facilitate the seamless integration of new technologies, promoting a culture that embraces change and technological advancement
• Track the entire innovation portfolio, resource allocation, budget, progress tracking and reporting. Maintain a clear view of the innovation pipeline and help drive data-driven decisions to optimize resource allocation and project prioritization
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, strategy, product teams, and external partners, to foster a culture of innovation and ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote awareness of the innovation portfolio's goals, progress, and outcomes Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate teams on the innovation framework, methodologies, and best practices to help drive innovation from within DTCC
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of innovation projects. Regularly monitor and report on project progress, outcomes, and lessons learned
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by fostering a learning environment, promoting experimentation, and implementing best practices for innovation management
• Develop clear and engaging content to communicate the benefits and applications of emerging technologies, ensuring alignment and understanding across the organization
