About The Position

The Research Grant & Regulatory Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support for clinical and translational research activities. This role is responsible for coordinating pre-award grant processes while ensuring compliance with institutional, federal, and sponsor regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma and two years relevant program experience.
  • A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate preparation and submission of grant proposals, including budget development, biosketches, and supporting documentation
  • Ensure applications comply with sponsor guidelines and institutional policies
  • Track proposal deadlines and manage submission timelines
  • Assist with award setup, account reconciliation, and financial monitoring
  • Support effort reporting and budget forecasting
  • Serve as liaison with central grants offices and sponsors
  • Prepare and submit regulatory documents to the Institutional Review Board (IRB), including new studies, amendments, and continuing reviews
  • Maintain regulatory binders and ensure documentation is complete and audit-ready
  • Track IRB approval expirations and ensure timely renewals
  • Assist with compliance related to FDA, OHRP, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements
  • Support audits, monitoring visits, and regulatory inspections
  • Develop and maintain tracking systems for grants and regulatory submissions
  • Generate reports on study status, submissions, and funding activity
  • Provide guidance to faculty and staff on processes and best practices
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives
  • Other Duties as Assigned
