About The Position

The Research Grant & Regulatory Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support for clinical and translational research activities. This role is responsible for coordinating pre-award grant processes while ensuring compliance with institutional, federal, and sponsor regulatory requirements.

Requirements

A high school diploma and two years relevant program experience.
A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinate preparation and submission of grant proposals, including budget development, biosketches, and supporting documentation
Ensure applications comply with sponsor guidelines and institutional policies
Track proposal deadlines and manage submission timelines
Assist with award setup, account reconciliation, and financial monitoring
Support effort reporting and budget forecasting
Serve as liaison with central grants offices and sponsors
Prepare and submit regulatory documents to the Institutional Review Board (IRB), including new studies, amendments, and continuing reviews
Maintain regulatory binders and ensure documentation is complete and audit-ready
Track IRB approval expirations and ensure timely renewals
Assist with compliance related to FDA, OHRP, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements
Support audits, monitoring visits, and regulatory inspections
Develop and maintain tracking systems for grants and regulatory submissions
Generate reports on study status, submissions, and funding activity
Provide guidance to faculty and staff on processes and best practices
Participate in process improvement initiatives
