About The Position
This is a Research Postdoctoral Fellow position within the Department of Biochemistry at Wake Forest University Health Sciences. The role is full-time, benefits-eligible, with standard Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm hours. The pay range is $30.70 - $46.05 per hour. The candidate will conduct research in retina/RPE biology and diseases, contribute to grant-funded studies, generate data for publications and new grant proposals, and write and submit research papers.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or M.D. degree in biochemistry or cell biology or immunology or ophthalmology
- Lab experience in biomedical research
Responsibilities
- Independently carrying out research projects in retina/RPE biology and diseases
- Completing the studies proposed in the PI’s grants
- Generating data for publication and new grant proposals
- Writing and submitting research papers
