About The Position

KronosAI is seeking a highly exceptional researcher in applied mathematics to lead foundational research at the intersection of AI, physics, and large-scale scientific computing. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of numerical PDEs, computational physics, scientific computing, and the mathematical foundations of machine learning. The position involves defining and leading research programs, proposing and executing new research directions, and collaborating with engineering teams to translate theoretical advancements into scalable algorithms. The goal is to set a high intellectual and technical standard for research at KronosAI through publications in leading venues.

Requirements

  • PhD in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or equivalent research record).
  • Deep expertise in numerical analysis of PDEs, computational physics, scientific computing, mathematical foundations of machine learning and operator theory.
  • Strong publication or equivalent research track record of turning academic innovations to real-world or industrial use.

Responsibilities

  • Define, lead, and scale research programs in foundational models for physics simulation.
  • Propose and execute new research directions in numerical PDEs and mathematical foundations of scientific machine learning.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to translate theory into scalable algorithms.
  • Set the intellectual and technical bar for research at KronosAI by publishing high-impact research in leading venues.
