About The Position

This Research Fellow position is focused on the development and implementation of software solutions to support high-throughput crystallography (HTX) experiments. The appointee will collaborate with Australian Synchrotron staff and the HTX Facility Manager to facilitate the implementation of HTX at the Australian Synchrotron. Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing code for supporting and tracking HTX experiments, creating a web-based interface for experimental setup, data acquisition, and processing, and generating operational documentation and training materials for the HTX facility.

Requirements

  • Development and implementation of software solutions to support high-throughput crystallography (HTX) experiments.
  • Work with Australian Synchrotron staff and the HTX Facility Manager to support implementation of HTX at the Australian Synchrotron.
  • Develop and optimize the code to support and track the HTX experiments.
  • Develop a web-based interface to enable HTX experimental set up, data acquisition and processing.
  • Generate documentation for operation and training in the HTX facility.
