About The Position

This position is for a Laboratory technician studying viruses and bacteria, the host response to infection, and novel gene therapy approaches with relevance to new vaccine development. The role involves conducting wet bench experiments to understand the role of RNA in host-pathogen interactions, the antiviral response, and novel gene therapy approaches. The position also includes helping to manage the lab, which may involve ordering supplies, organization, cleaning, and scheduling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in scientific, engineering, or a technical field. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
