Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or closely related field.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Responsibilities

Conduct independent and collaborative research aligned with the Cosgriff-Hernandez Laboratory's mission to develop advanced polymeric biomaterials for medical devices.
Establish and optimize experimental protocols for biomaterial synthesis, fabrication, characterization, and biological evaluation.
Help manage laboratory operations and shared research facilities.
Provide scientific and technical guidance to undergraduate and graduate students on related projects, fostering a collaborative and rigorous research environment.
Perform miscellaneous duties including research discussions, equipment maintenance, paper and proposal writing, and external collaborations.
Develop and maintain collaborations with investigators across engineering, clinical, and translational disciplines to advance multidisciplinary research.
