About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. As a Research Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. This role involves developing capabilities in precision coating and web processing technologies and applying them to new products and processes, ensuring successful technology scale-up from laboratory to manufacturing, characterizing and analyzing physical properties of fluids, dispersions, and substrates, presenting results in a clear and concise manner to multidisciplinary teams, and initiating and contributing to the development of intellectual property. Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties. Safety is a core value at 3M. Requirements

  • Currently possess or be in final year of Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

  • Previous or current 3M Internship, Co-Op or Tech Aide experience
