The Poudineh Lab at NYU Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a Full time Research Engineer to work in wearable sensors. The Poudineh Lab focuses on developing new platforms for automating healthcare via continuous biomarker monitoring and delivering therapeutics.

Requirements

• At least an MS in biotechnology, nanotechnology or a related field.
• 3 years of experience.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conducting biomedical research involving hydrogel polymer synthesis and microneedle fabrication for experimental studies.
• Assisting in grant preparation: This includes collaborating with PI to draft, review, and prepare grant proposals and supporting documentation.
• Managing laboratory inventory: Sourced and ordered essential materials, chemicals, and reagents while maintaining accurate tracking logs.
• Maintaining laboratory equipment: Performed routine inspections, calibration, and preventative maintenance on instruments.
