Research Engineer - AI Verification
About The Position
The Verification team at Singapore AI Safety Hub (SASH) is building prototypes of AI verification tools in public to accelerate the development and adoption of globally trusted verification mechanisms. This is the first international collaboration aimed at creating these tools, which will translate into policy change. The team demonstrates these tools to policymakers globally, helps roadmap production-scale verification mechanisms, and broadens the base of independent experts who can evaluate them. Partners include experts from the Future of Life Institute and the University of Oxford. The core team has experience from Oxford, ByteDance, Centre for the Governance of AI, and the Singapore Government, with collaborators from Arm and Intel. The team has recently presented their work at various international forums including the AI Security Forum, ICML, Australia AI Safety Forum, and World AI Conference.
Requirements
- Strong ML engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with AI verification, cybersecurity and/or confidential computing.
- Comfortable in ambiguous early-stage environments.
