About The Position

The Research Development Partnerships Senior Consultant for the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) cultivates and executes business opportunities with funding partners, primarily the Ohio Department of Medicaid, to optimize the utilization of GRC services. This role serves as the primary engagement point of contact to anticipate and clarify customer needs, define project scope, and apply GRC services and relationships with health systems and colleges of medicine to achieve customer goals. The consultant uses specialized knowledge to develop new processes for successful engagement, advises the GRC leadership team on development opportunities and partner relationship cultivation, and influences the development and implementation of plans to ensure alignment with strategic goals and cross-functional coordination. They develop strong business rapport with partner liaisons to identify improvement opportunities and manage problem resolution, and guide internal and external stakeholders to continually improve business relationships to meet customer needs. The role works towards goals such as growing or retaining partner engagements or attaining high customer satisfaction, provides oversight for existing requests, and presents proposals for new solutions and services to clients. Additionally, the consultant provides guidance to faculty and staff in pursuit of new partner engagement opportunities and ensures compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and sponsor requirements related to GRC’s services and health services research.

Requirements

  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience required.
  • Requires successful completion of a background check.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent is required.
