About The Position

The Research & Development (R&D) Intern supports the R&D team in conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and assisting in the development of new products, processes, or technologies. This role provides hands-on experience in innovation, problem-solving, and technical research within a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, or related discipline)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of research methods and data analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of specialized software is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• U.S. Citizens only (due to government-contracted project)
• Must be able to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States
• Must pass a background screening
• Must complete required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of specialized software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing research experiments and tests
• Collect, organize, and analyze data from experiments and research activities
• Support the development and improvement of products, processes, or systems
• Conduct literature reviews and competitive research to support innovation
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation of findings
• Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and observations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and quality departments
• Follow safety protocols, lab procedures, and company guidelines
• Perform or assist with any additional assignments as required
