Research Data Analyst I, Clinical, Pathology & Lab Medicine
About The Position
We are seeking a Research Data Analyst computational biologist to lead transcriptomics analysis on research projects investigating breast cancer metastasis and infectious disease. The candidate will independently conduct end-to-end analysis of multi-omics datasets, including single-cell RNA-seq, bulk RNA-seq, and spatial RNA-seq data. Key responsibilities include expression matrix processing, quality control, normalization, differential expression testing with statistical corrections, pathway enrichment analysis, clustering, and publication-quality visualization. The candidate will collaborate with wet-lab teams and contribute to manuscript and grant preparation. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, scientifically curious, and able to work independently.
Requirements
- Computational biology background.
- Experience with transcriptomics analysis.
- Experience with multi-omics datasets, including single-cell RNA-seq, bulk RNA-seq, and spatial RNA-seq data.
- Proficiency in expression matrix processing, quality control, normalization, differential expression testing with statistical corrections, pathway enrichment analysis, and clustering.
- Ability to create publication-quality visualizations.

- Able to work independently.
