About The Position

The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Full-time Research Coordinator position. The full-time Research Coordinator for grant-funded, human laboratory studies on cannabis will be responsible for facilitating enrollment, screening, data collection and management, and regulatory compliance. Applicants should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Organizational skills, attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to work independently are critical components of this position. The hours for this position are as follows: Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 5:00pm; occasional evenings (3:30-11:30pm) and weekends (daytime/evening) anticipated approximately 1-2x per month. - Flexible availability required (position includes occasional evening and weekend shifts)

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree
1 year of relevant experience behavioral science research required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Organizational skills, attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to work independently are critical components of this position.
Flexible availability required (position includes occasional evening and weekend shifts)

Nice To Haves

At least (2) years of experience with data entry, database use, and behavioral research experience.
At least (1) years of experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with REDCap.

Responsibilities

Research Coordinator will use computers to record participants' behaviors, communicate with participants, and record/manage data.
Incumbents will assist in operational activities, participant phone screening, data collection, transfer and entry, regulatory compliance, petty cash and credit card handling, vitals measurement (e.g. blood pressure, heart rate, carbon monoxide, breathalyzer), food handling, and inventory maintenance.
