About The Position

This role focuses on assisting with the preparation and maintenance of research and regulatory documents for various oversight bodies. The coordinator will identify eligible patients, obtain informed consent, collect and enter data, and assist with the preparation and submission of research-related materials. Additionally, this position involves supervising students and interns and contributing to the training of other research coordinators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3-5 years of experience in clinical research
  • CCRP certification
  • Proficient computer skills in a Windows environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with other health professionals
  • Substantial interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with patients, their families, and the community
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Spreadsheet software knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation and maintenance of research and regulatory documents for Research Advisory Panel, Institutional Review Board, and other regulatory agencies
  • Identify eligible patients and obtain informed consent
  • Collect, validate, and enter data into research databases or spreadsheets
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of abstracts, journal manuscripts and other presentations as needed
  • Supervise summer students/interns and contribute to the training of Level I and new Level II Research Coordinators
