The Research Coordinator II will play a key role in administering and supporting safety-related grants, working with local, state, and federal safety partners. Responsibilities include assisting the Project Manager with the implementation and completion of activities for multiple highway safety grants, providing customer service and program assistance to traffic safety partners, maintaining accurate records, coordinating information for grant reporting and compliance, tracking project activities, and preparing program reports. Additionally, this role involves coordinating the distribution and inventory of safety resources such as bicycle helmets and child passenger safety seats, maintaining accurate records of distribution and inventory, and monitoring customer reporting deadlines. The position also requires maintaining and updating FTSRC websites and online program resources, posting and updating program announcements and safety information, maintaining online calendars and forms, and reviewing website pages for outdated information. The role includes representing UF-T2 and FTSRC at traffic safety events, distributing educational materials, promoting safety initiatives, sharing information through websites and social media, and assisting with the development of promotional materials. Other tasks as directed are also expected.
