About The Position

The Department of Population and Public Health Sciences at the Keck School of Medicine at USC has an immediate opening for a bilingual (English-Spanish) Research Coordinator II to assist in the All of Us Research Program funded by the National Institutes of Health. This position will report to the USC Principal Investigator. The All of Us Research Program is funded by the National Institutes of Health and part of the Precision Medicine Initiative. It seeks to build one of the largest, most diverse biomedical data resources of its kind, with information gathered from 1 million + participants across America. This program will be one of the most diverse health databases in history. Researchers will use the data to learn how our biology, lifestyle, and environment affect health. This may one day help them find ways to treat and prevent disease. All of Us is building a diverse database that can inform thousands of studies on a variety of health conditions.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree
• Willing and able to travel to off-site locations approximately once a week
• Strong organization, attention to detail and verbal communication
• Administrative or research experience.
• Knowledge of medical environment and terminology.
• Knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and institutional research regulations as well as Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and HIPPA regulations.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Demonstrated effective communication and writing skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• 3 years of preferred experience
• Staff education and orientation experience.
• Knowledge of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems and Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS).

Responsibilities

• Present the All of Us Research Program opportunity to eligible patients at Keck Medicine, LA General, and partnering clinics (in person or by phone).
• Interact with clinic staff as needed to create partnerships and increase support of the program.
• Help enroll interested participants by assisting with the consent process and survey completion through the All of Us research portal.
• Take physical measurements, vital signs and assist with biospecimen collection activities
• Contact potential participants to complete retention activities
• Use REDCap to document all patient contacts for both recruitment and retention
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Benefits

• The hourly rate range for this position is $35.53 - $38.34.
