Join the research team at the John S. Dunn Behavioral Sciences Center at UTHealth Houston as a Research Coordinator I, supporting human-subjects research involving inpatient participants. In this role, you’ll support the full lifecycle of inpatient research studies, including participant identification, recruitment and screening, research study coordination, data collection, and research database management. You’ll work closely with investigators, research staff, and clinical teams to coordinate study activities within the inpatient setting and help ensure research protocols are implemented accurately and consistently. You’ll assist with tracking participant enrollment and study progress, maintaining research records and study documentation, entering and managing research data, and supporting regulatory and compliance requirements for human-subjects research. You’ll also contribute to research paper, presentations, and other study-related materials that help investigators evaluate findings and advance ongoing inpatient research. This position is well suited for someone interested in human-subjects research, research coordination, and data management within the largest inpatient academic psychiatric hospital in the United States: the John S. Dunn Behavioral Sciences Center. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of research coordination, data management, and team collaboration in a structured Monday–Friday schedule. What we do here changes the world. UTHealth Houston is Texas’ resource for healthcare education, innovation, scientific discovery, and excellence in patient care. That’s where you come in.
