About The Position
The Research Clinical Assistant supports the clinical research department by assisting with various tasks and providing clinical and clerical support to clinical Research Coordinators. The position is based at the Tallahassee Cancer Center and requires travel between clinics. Employment offers are contingent upon a satisfactory background screening. New hires must receive required vaccinations, including the influenza vaccine, unless an exemption is approved, and are subject to drug testing.
Requirements
- At least two years of medical or clinical work experience.
- Proficiency with computer software such as Excel, Word, and OncoEMR.
- Attention to detail.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong communication skills to interact with a wide variety of personalities.
- Valid Florida driver’s license for travel between clinics.
- Successful background screening and drug testing; new hires must receive required vaccinations, including the influenza vaccine, barring an approved exemption.

- Oncology experience is preferred.
