About The Position

Join our Drug Product team as a Research Chemist, where you’ll play a key role in supporting the development of liquid and solid oral dosage forms. Reporting to the Head of Pre-Formulations, you’ll contribute to both laboratory operations and analytical activities in a dynamic GMP environment. In this role, you will be hands-on in analytical method development, validation, and testing, while also supporting equipment setup, onboarding, and routine lab operations. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to execute stability studies, prepare technical documentation, and ensure projects are delivered on time. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented scientist who is passionate about quality, compliance (cGMP/GLP), and driving pharmaceutical innovation.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field
• 3+ years' experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory or manufacturing environment
• 2+ years of method transfer/validation
• Expertise in GMP, GLP and other Health Canada guidelines

Responsibilities

• Support analytical method development, validation, transfer, and testing
• Assist with stability studies in line with regulatory guidelines (ICH)
• Contribute to GMP documentation (SOPs, specifications, reports)
• Maintain compliance with cGMP, GLP, and internal procedures
• Partner with Drug Product Operations to deliver client projects efficiently
