About The Position
The University of New Mexico is seeking a Research Assistant Professor to conduct research on polymer concrete and its use in civil infrastructure utilizing additive manufacturing technology. This role involves supervising graduate students, developing research proposals, and producing publications and technical reports.
Requirements
- A PhD in civil engineering or a related field.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in 3D printed concrete and composite.
- Extensive experience in materials characterization using XRD, thermogravimetric analysis, nuclear magnetic resonance, and dynamic mechanical analysis.
- Experience in computational modeling using the finite element method.
