About The Position

MD Analytics is looking for a motivated Research Associate to join their team immediately. This is an entry-level role based in the Greater Toronto Area, focused on providing day-to-day management of multiple ongoing marketing research projects. The role requires open communication, comfort in asking questions, and initiative in project management. The position offers the opportunity to gain experience and develop a career in market research, contributing to the overall success of the team and company. The role is fully remote, with candidates needing to be comfortable working from home and engaging in the company's remote work culture. The position reports to the Account Director and is responsible for projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency. Key responsibilities include quality control for scripting, managing fieldwork, note-taking, creating data table/analysis plans, overseeing data table setup and coding, performing basic statistical analyses, and report development.

Requirements

  • A university degree is required; a focus in marketing, health sciences, statistics, or other relevant discipline is preferred
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Proven skills in critical thinking, attention to detail, and meeting or exceeding deadlines
  • Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to work independently and self-manage time
  • Knowledge of research and statistical methods
  • Comfortable working from home full-time
  • Willing to engage in an established remote work company culture

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity in SPSS or other equivalent statistical software packages
  • Experience working with quantitative and/or qualitative consumer/customer research methodologies considered a significant asset
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare-related marketing research considered an asset
