We are looking for a highly self-motivated Research Associate with the ability to work both in vitro and in vivo collaboratively within a team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to investigate cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying the pathophysiology of neurological diseases and disorders such as stroke, Alzheimer’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease with a focus on the role of neuroinflammation, epigenetic regulation and microRNAs, and on protein regulation and degradation such as ubiquitination and autophagy. Our research aims to identify novel therapeutic targets for these challenging conditions. The successful candidate will engage in discussions with the Principal Investigator (PI) and other scientists in the lab to design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret results. Opportunities for involvement in the preparation of manuscripts and scientific reports will be provided.
