Specialized or complex capabilities are typically demonstrated through scientific accomplishments, contributions, and peer-reviewed publications averaging at least one per year after the doctoral degree. The Research Associate is expected to provide leadership support and training within an established research program. Following a background check and CCATS Executive Committee approval, the role may involve patient or research-subject contact directly related to and incidental to the original research program.
