Research Associate Scientist - Bioassay
About The Position
Eurofins PSS is seeking a Research Associate Scientist - Bioassay to join their team. This role involves developing, performing, and troubleshooting in vitro cell-based expression assays and flow cytometry assays to support product testing. The position also supports assay development through various molecular biology techniques, documents and reports laboratory data in accordance with GMP practices, and collaborates effectively within cross-functional and multi-disciplinary project teams to ensure timely and accurate testing. Eurofins PSS works with leading international companies in the pharma, medical device, food, cosmetic & consumer products industries, serving clients at their sites across 20 countries. PSS is part of Eurofins Scientific, an international life sciences company with a vast network of laboratories.
Requirements
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship indefinitely.
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in relevant life science field (Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related discipline)
- 1-3 years of relevant industrial experience
- Hands-on experience with molecular and cell biology techniques, including familiarity with techniques such as: In vitro expression assays, Mammalian Cell Culture, Cell-based assays, Flow cytometry, Aseptic technique
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to good documentation practices.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in GMP and GMP-like environments is preferred.
- PCR/qPCR, ELISA, Blotting Techniques
- Method validation experience.
