About The Position
This position includes RNA isolation, PCR, qPCR, Flow cytometry, ELISAs, and other in vivo assays. The Research Associate/Lab Technician will also order supplies, submit changes to the IACUC and IRB, and supervise students.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related field from an accredited college or university AND at least 1 year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Collects, classifies, and files scientific material.
- Organizes, graphs, and analyzes experimental data.
- Runs in vitro assays, in vivo experiments and ex vivo studies.
- Trains and supervises undergraduate student researchers.
- Manage lab ordering, equipment updates and repairs, and general lab safety paperwork.
- Writes and submits changes/addendums to lab IRB and IACUC protocols.
