Join the forefront of groundbreaking research at the Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope, where we're changing lives and making a real difference in the fight against cancer, diabetes, and other life-threatening illnesses. Our dedicated and compassionate faculty and staff are driven by a common mission: Contribute to innovative approaches in predicting, preventing, and curing diseases, shaping the future of medicine through cutting-edge research. The laboratory of Dr. Linda Malkas develops targeted anticancer therapeutics that inhibit a cancer-associated form of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA). Using cancer cell line models, our team investigates the cellular mechanisms of these agents and evaluates synergistic drug combinations designed to improve therapeutic efficacy. We are seeking a motivated Research Associate to perform and optimize laboratory experiments, test anticancer drugs across various cell lines, and support ongoing research projects. On-the-job training will be provided.
