Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, or related field, plus four (4) years of research experience required.
  • Excellent at multitasking and with interpersonal communication skills.
  • Persons must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Western blots and/or real-time PCR preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the vivarium unit and mouse colonies; perform Western blots and real-time PCR, and cell culture techniques.
  • Oversee microscopy and general laboratory techniques
  • Oversee the analysis of data obtained through assays and ensure the arrangement of results is illustrated in a workable form.
  • Assist with writing research protocols and papers.
  • Order lab supplies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
