The Chen Laboratory at the City of Hope is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to support NIH-funded research focused on RNA biology, vascular biology, cancer biology, and therapeutic discovery. You will contribute to an interdisciplinary program investigating the role of Argonaute proteins and RNA regulatory mechanisms in cancer, diabetes, and vascular disease, including the development and validation of first-in-class small-molecule inhibitors. You will also play a key role in laboratory operations by establishing and maintaining a comprehensive inventory of plasmids, antibodies, cell lines, reagents, and laboratory supplies; organizing laboratory databases; coordinating reagent distribution and ordering; ensuring quality control of laboratory resources; and assisting with general laboratory management and regulatory compliance.
