About The Position

The Research Associate will provide essential support to Emergency Medicine residents conducting research projects. This position assists with the design, coordination, implementation, and analysis of research studies while ensuring compliance with institutional policies and ethical standards. The Research Associate will collaborate with faculty and residents to facilitate high-quality research, promote scholarly activity, and support the department's academic and research mission.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus at least two (2) years of post-Bachelor’s work experience.
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R) and data management tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work well under pressure and demonstrated dependability.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related discipline).
• Previous experience in clinical research, particularly within Emergency Medicine.
