About The Position

The Cell Culture Process Development group within Biologics CMC is responsible for end-to-end upstream drug substance development across the biologics portfolio, supporting molecules from early development through commercialization and lifecycle management. We are seeking a Senior Research Associate to join our Cell Culture Process Development group within Drug Substance Development, Biologics CMC in West Chester, PA. This is a hands-on, lab-based role ideal for a motivated candidate with a foundation in mammalian cell culture and data analysis with an interest in innovation in monoclonal antibody (mAb) production. You will play a role in collaboratively designing and executing experiments that drive process understanding, optimization, and scale-up from early-stage development through commercial launch and life-cycle management. Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Cell Biology, or related field

• Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and/or aseptic laboratory techniques.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively design and execute (with direct supervision) mammalian cell culture experiments with strong scientific rationale.
• Operate and scale processes using bioreactors (ambr 250, 3L, 50L, 200L).
• Utilize statistical modeling and automation tools to drive data-driven decisions.
• Author technical reports when required
