Research Associate - Cardiovascular Immunology
About The Position
The Experimental Cardiovascular Immunology Laboratory, part of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic Rochester, is seeking a Research Associate or Post-doctoral Fellow. The Lutgens lab focuses on studying the role of co-stimulatory and co-inhibitory immune checkpoints in cardiovascular disease, with a particular emphasis on atherosclerosis. We are looking for an ambitious scientist with a PhD or MD/PhD degree who possesses expertise in immunology, flow cytometry, and (mouse) models of inflammatory diseases. Expertise in computational biology is preferred.
Requirements
- PhD, MD/PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant field.
- At least three years of postdoctoral research experience.
- Evidence of publications and other scientific accomplishments.
- Expertise in immunology.
- Expertise in flow cytometry.
- Expertise in (mouse) models of inflammatory diseases.
