About The Position

This position involves attending and creating live graphic recordings for all 14 sessions of BUSA 303: The Entrepreneurial Mindset. The course is a new flagship course on entrepreneurial thinking open to all faculties. The graphic recorder will translate lectures, guest speaker talks, and in-class discussions into real-time visual notes that capture key ideas and the flow of the session. A polished visual summary for each class will be produced to be shared with students afterward as a learning artifact. The role also includes collaborating with the instructor before each session on themes and concepts worth highlighting, and contributing visual material to the course's broader effort to build a distinctive, experiential learning environment.

Requirements

• Demonstrated skill in live illustration, graphic recording, or sketchnoting, with a portfolio or samples showing work completed in real time.
• Comfortable working quickly and confidently in front of a live audience, synthesizing spoken content into visuals on the spot.
• Strong sense of visual hierarchy and storytelling, able to distill complex or abstract ideas into clear, engaging graphics.
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to commit to all 14 sessions across the term (~39 hours total).
• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based.
• Proficient in English communication, both verbally and in writing.
