About The Position
The Department of Physics and Engineering Physics is seeking a Research Assistant. This role involves the creation of an Open Educational Resources (OER) textbook for first-year physics courses at USask, along with associated materials such as assignments, lecture slides, and test banks. The position is for 13 hours per week, with a duration from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027. The work location is primarily off-campus, with potential eligibility for hybrid work.
Requirements
- Minimum of a M.Sc. degree in Physics.
- Experience teaching Physics 115 and 117 at USask or equivalent courses.
- Must be registered in a graduate program.
Responsibilities
- Creation of OER textbook for first-year physics courses offered at USask.
- Creation of assignments, lecture slides, test banks, and associated resources to compliment the OER textbook.
