The Wistar Institute has an opening for a Research Assistant to join the lab of Dr. Luis Montaner. The Montaner laboratory focuses on developing immuno therapy strategies against HIV or cancer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field (or equivalent)
- Two year minimum experience working in a laboratory
Nice To Haves
- Experience in murine models
- Experience in molecular biology
- Experience in cellular immunology
Responsibilities
- Lab maintenance (inventory, ordering, lab operations support)
- Murine colony maintenance
- Murine models
- Whole blood isolation
- Flowcytometry
- ELISAs
- Work in BSL-2+ (HIV-infected cell cultures)
- Molecular biology
- Cell-mediated assays
