About The Position
A researcher affiliated with the CUNY Institute for Demographic Research and Baruch College is seeking a part-time Research Assistant to support an ongoing mixed-methods research project focused on disability, caregiving, and social policy.
Requirements
- Graduate student or advanced undergraduate in economics, sociology, social work, public health, nursing, public policy, or related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with research methods and data analysis preferred
- Familiarity with Stata, R, Python, NVivo, or similar software is a plus
- Interest in disability, aging, healthcare, or social policy research preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with quantitative and qualitative research activities
- Conduct literature reviews
- Support data cleaning, organization, and analysis
- Help prepare research summaries, tables, and presentations
- Assist with interview-related tasks and qualitative data organization
- Participate in research meetings
- Other duties as assigned
