About The Position

IQVIA is seeking a Research Assistant to support clinical research studies under the supervision of a principal investigator. The role combines hands-on clinical procedures, community outreach, and work to ensure high standards of participant care and regulatory compliance. This is an on-site position in Flint, Michigan, scheduled for 24 hours per week.

Requirements

Associate degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Strong working knowledge of clinical trials, GCP, and protocol-specific procedures.
Proficiency with EDC systems, accurate data entry, and query management.
Experience with visit scheduling, regulatory documentation, and binder maintenance.
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and task prioritization.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Not eligible for sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience in a clinical research environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform accurate EDC data entry, manage queries, and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain and update the regulatory binder in compliance with documentation and audit standards.
Coordinate and schedule subject visits, procedures, and follow-up activities.
Build effective working relationships with investigators, clinical staff, and study team members.
Support subject screening, recruitment, and enrollment activities.
Assist with patient and research participant scheduling and collection of medical history.
Coordinate lab procedures and follow-up care in alignment with study protocols.
Ensure adherence to IRB-approved protocols, including assisting with informed consent processes.
Uphold participant safety and promptly report concerns according to SOPs and Sponsor requirements.
Follow company policies, SOPs, guidelines, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
