About The Position
The position requires knowledge of handling ground and satellite data from different Earth’s observing stations and carry out analysis to study influence of different kinds of natural hazards associated with land, ocean, cryosphere and atmosphere. The position requires good academic background with knowledge of MATLAB and Excel. The candidate must have experience of working with various NASA tools to generate images for analysis and interpretation.
Requirements
- Knowledge of handling ground and satellite data from different Earth’s observing stations
- Ability to carry out analysis to study influence of different kinds of natural hazards associated with land, ocean, cryosphere and atmosphere.
- Good academic background
- Knowledge of MATLAB and Excel.
- Experience of working with various NASA tools to generate images for analysis and interpretation.
- Experience with biology education research, specifically qualitative analyses skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Writing skills to summarize research findings and integrate into scientific manuscripts
- Communication and interpersonal skills to interact and work collaboratively with other researchers
Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews with students following established interview protocols
- Assist with participant recruitment and communication.
- Organize and analyze qualitative data from interviews.
- Assist with interpretation of findings.
- Assist with preparing and writing reports, presentations, and manuscripts.
- Identify and review relevant research.
- Collaborate with research team members to support ongoing research initiatives
