About The Position

UNC Chapel Hill School of Nursing is seeking a Research Assistant to support research projects in Robeson County, North Carolina. The position’s main purpose is to conduct data collection and assist the Project Manager with the administration and operations of all projects. The Research Assistant will attend recruitment events, provide research support, and coordinate project activities. The role involves engaging with study participants at their homes, public locations, or in a clinic setting to collect data, provide incentives, and distribute and collect study devices in and around Robeson County.

The position is based in Robeson County, NC. Candidates must live in or within a reasonable commuting distance of the county. Periodic training sessions and in-person workdays at UNC Chapel Hill may be required, up to one day per month. Recruitment events and data collections may take place after regular business hours and on weekends. The stated work schedule is Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with work in Robeson County.
