About The Position
The College of Agricultural Sciences, Department of Entomology seeks to hire a part-time research assistant. This position will study the behavior of mushroom phorid Megaselia halterata and sciarid Lycoriella ingenua flies and perform laboratory experiments to optimize attract and kill technology to be used in field experiments. This position may also explore the vectoring dynamics and practicality of using natural enemies to control pest insects.
Requirements
- Must be a current Penn State student.
- Must be able to apply internally through Workday.
