About The Position

Brock University is seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant with a completed Master’s degree and a strong background in qualitative research methodologies. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative, international research project in a flexible and supportive work environment. The position is for 50 hours, with the possibility of increase.

Requirements

• Completed Master’s degree (required)
• Demonstrated experience or training in qualitative research methodologies
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling and coordinating online interviews with research participants
• Support qualitative data collection including individual interviews, data transcription, thematic analysis
• Comfortable in interviewing male and female participants
• Perform literature review
• Manage timelines and ensure project tasks are completed efficiently
• Communicate effectively with team members and external collaborator
• Contribute in manuscript writing, dissemination and peer-reviewed publication
