About The Position

Performs various support functions in a research laboratory, adhering to proper procedures to prevent laboratory-acquired infections or sample-to-sample contamination. Responsibilities include maintaining and cleaning equipment and the facility, managing and restocking supplies, and updating a computer database. This role operates under direct supervision and requires a high level of attention to detail, especially when handling multiple tasks. Flexibility is crucial for adapting to frequent changes in work volume. This is a limited tenure position with a one-year end date. Visa sponsorship is not available, and Mayo Clinic does not participate in the OPT Stem program.

Requirements

• High school diploma with coursework in mathematics and relevant sciences.
• Previous work experience that demonstrates organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
• Manual dexterity, accurate typing, and good communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and adjust to changes in work volume.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Excel software is preferred.
