About The Position
The Wistar Institute is seeking a Research Assistant to join the laboratory of Dr. Filippo Veglia. The Veglia lab investigates the molecular and metabolic changes that cause myeloid cells in the brain tumor microenvironment to be reprogrammed. The ultimate goal is to discover new ways to treat brain tumors by targeting immunosuppressive myeloid cells. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for learning, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the Principal Investigator and other lab members.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong drive for learning
- Ability to work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and other lab members
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a science-related field (or equivalent)
